I recently had a chance encounter with a prominent person for whom I have been making clothes in the past 15 years at an event.

In the course of our conversation, he began to eulogize me. He said he has watched me closely over the past years and marveled at how I have maintained a cordial relationship with people, even after they stopped patronizing Vodi.

Then he said something that really humbled me: “Seyi, anytime you want to travel, just give me a call, and I would give you my Private Jet to convey you to your destination at no cost.”

The message for me is that while it is good to build businesses, it is even much better to build relationships!
