I’m an educator, and nonprofit consultant with over 8 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. I work directly with children in marginalized communities in Nigeria focusing on education and the girl-child through Beyond the Classroom Foundation. @btheclassroom
As the founder of The Clarity School for Nonprofits, I work closely with individuals interested in starting nonprofits to clarify and strengthen their structure, community awareness, volunteer engagement, and leadership capacity. In addition to one-on-one coaching, I also work with teams, facilitating clarity sessions and team workshops.
I’m a recipient of the 2016 Honour Nigeria Community Development Award by Trinity House, the 2015 Young Women of Change Award, 2014 Le Roche Exemplary Leadership Award by the past Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, nominee of the Global Foundation Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 and a Coca-Cola Scholar at Enterprise Development Center of Pan Atlantic University in 2013.
I’m a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum, 2012 CYFI Fellow, Royal Commonwealth Associate Fellow, 2015 LEAP Africa Social Innovator Program fellow, 2017 and 2018 mentor of the Queens Young Leaders’ Program UK and 2019 Climate Reality Leader.
Prior to starting my coaching and consulting firm, I doubled as the Admin/HR lead at the Secretariat of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council and the Executive Assistant to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Industry, Trade and Investment (Office of the Vice President). I bring enormous expertise, insight, and energy to all my projects. I love to spend time with family and friends, read, watch TV, and write. I’m also an avid traveler, reader, and lover of all things chocolate-peanut butter. I’m an author, wife and a mother!
